Minister regrets PSSI congress deadlock

Coordinating Public Welfare Minister Agung Laksono said on Saturday he regretted that the National Soccer Association PSSI congress had to end in a deadlock. “The public is expecting not the congress, but to see PSSI’s achievements. It is too bad that the congress ended in a deadlock,” Agung said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
The PSSI congress was halted on Friday after a torrent of interruptions. Agum Gumelar, the head of the PSSI normalization committee, halted the congress before leaving the venue along with other members of the committee and those with high seats in the event, including FIFA representative Heinry Regennas.
The congress was laden with disagreements regarding voting, which actually was not present on the agenda.
